Lage: Located in the north of the medoc region, Château La Piroutte’s vineyard has been planted in 1978 by Yvan Roux, father of the actual owner. The estate covers 30ha of vines and 400ha of land used for the horse breeding.

Rebsorten: 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot, 20% Petit verdot

Ernte und Weinherstellung:
The vineyard is grown with care trought the seasons, the vines are leafstriped and green harvested to obtain the best fruits. After harvest at perfect maturity, the grapes are vinified for 3 to 4 weeks in thermoregulated stainless steel vats. Then the wine is aged in oak barrels for a year.

Verkostung:
Appearence: Bright and limpis, with garnet hints.
Bouquet: Intense, net, developing undergrowth aromas and toasted wooden notes.
Palate:: Ample and full-bodied, surrounded by silky tannins, finish on grilled almond notes.

Serviervorschlag:
Served around 17°, Château La Pirouette will accompany well stewed game, grilled meat, roasted poultry and cheese.
