Lage: For 7 generations, the same familyhave been working the vines of Saint-Emilion. 150 years ago, Denis Biès was given some acres of vines, since then, his son and grandson continue to expand the vineyard which now covers 9 hectares.

Rebsorten: 85% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc

Ernte und Weinherstellung:
After harvest, the grapes picked by hand are sorted out on vibrating table. Then they are grown in thermo-regulated cement vats. The long maturing is done in vats and oak barrels.

Appearence: Beautiful crimsoncolor.
Bouquet: Over-ripe red fruit aromas with subtle notes vanilla on the background.

Served at 17°, Château La Croix Mazeran will be perfect with a wild duck in sauce, stews, duck breast with mushrooms. It will also accompany well a cheese platter.
